Pewter and Abalone Clock made by Liberty & Co , Regent st , London.
The clock dates to 1902 and was designed by Archibald Knox.
It has the TUDRIC stamp and model no. to base .
TUDRIC was the brand name for the Liberty & Co Pewter Range ,
CYMRIC being the Silver range.
It retains its original movement which has been serviced and keeps good time , please bear in mind that this is not a modern quartz movement. The movement was made by Lenzkirch
( German ) which is 107 yrs old so expect a few seconds or minutes either way in its cycle
(8 Day).
After playing with the balance setting I can generally get an old clock to within a minute each way per its cycle (8 day movements) 30hour movements are a bit more tricky I think .
Old Arts and Crafts clock movement re-act to lots of things , Temperature being one thing.
